iPulse Systems is proud to be part of the Richmark Holdings group of companies, and is supported and backed by all the resources that such a successful company has to bring to bear. Financial stability, a solid track record of success and a belief that companies are about their people are just some of the guiding principles which the group carries through to all its subsidiaries.

The company is run by Gary Chalmers, who is a CEO with over a decade of management experience in the ICT sector. Gary is backed up by a strong team of professionals, each of whom brings many years experience in their relative areas to the table.

iPulse Systems flagship product is the competitively priced, extremely reliable biometric solution, the IDU5-IP65. Powered by Secugen sensors, a world leader in biometric technology, this 5th generation product competes head on with some of the top units in the world at a fraction of the price. Feature for feature, iPulse Systems has produced one of the best value biometric products in the world.

Other products include the Hamster, a compact, USB-based unit which comes in a number of versions, and the Secugen Optical mouse with built-in fingerprint reader. These competitively priced entry-level models offer excellent security, and have full SDKs available for integration into most development languages.

The global market for biometrics increased from $1.95 billion in 2006 to an estimated $2.7 billion by the end of 2007. It should reach $7.1 billion by 2012, a compound annual growth rate of 21.3%.

Fingerprint biometrics will continue to be the main revenue contributor from 2007 to 2012 and even beyond this time frame.

The public sector, comprising government and federal departments, law enforcement, military and transport and aviation markets, will be the main user segment of biometric technology.
